Installing the Repaint Textures

1. Set Up a Temporary Folder: Duplicate any existing Carenado C152 texture folder into a safe location, then open this copy.
2. Transfer Key Files: Move the eight provided texture files and both thumbnails from the repaint package into your copied folder. Overwrite any files if prompted.
3. Rename for Organization: Change the copied folder’s name to texture.Blue N2270J, and place this folder into your main Carenado C152 aircraft directory within your simulator.
4. Create the No-Wheelpants Variant: Return to your temporary folder and rename texture.Blue N2270J to texture.Blue N2270Jsc (the “sc” signifies no gear fairings). Again, move it into the same airplane folder.

Modifying the Aircraft Configuration

Insert two new [fltsim.X] entries into the C152’s aircraft.cfg file. Ensure to replace “X” with the next available sequence. After editing, save the file. The necessary configurations are shown below:

Final Thumbnail Adjustments

In the texture.Blue N2270Jsc folder, remove the original thumbnail file and rename thumbnailWITHOUTWHEELPANTS to thumbnail. This step ensures both variations appear correctly in the simulator's aircraft selection menu.
