Naturally, as one of the most important aircraft of its era, the Boeing 727-200 has seen more than a few recreations over the year. By package by David Grindele is a fine showcase of what can be done with a bit of tender love and care put into the development of a project. Given that this is taking the old Vista Liners & Erick Cantu FS2004 727-200 and revamping it, this makes an even more impressive conversion!
This isn’t just a basic re-upload with some basics fixed: this is about as close as you can get to a full revival of an old classic. With a total reworking of the configuration file, this is totally compatible for working with FSX now, offering full performance improvements while ensuring that you have nothing to worry about in terms of compatibility.
Packed with Content & Features
Also, this is worth grabbing for the addition of the 3D Landing Lights by Shockwave. It’s a nice touch and comes equipped as part of this grouping to help you get the full experience. If you have this (if you don’t, you should grab it – it’s awesome!) then I fully recommend putting it to good use starting from today.
For that alone, I would recommend picking this mod up!
This has also undergone an impressive change to the nav lights, which were in need of a bit of improvement given their dated and dour appearance. This helps to make this come alive once again, adding a nice touch to the aircraft.
Last but not least, it also comes with over 150 liveries to pick from. Now, you can role-play to your heart's content when you get into the skies. I found myself using a large majority of the liveries for various flights, and each that I tried out looked nice and crisp, with an accuracy and an attention to detail with regards to the scale, style, and shape of the livery itself.
Add in the fact it comes with some awesome wing views, you can get some nice photographic shots for photographs and screen grabs to impress friends.
