Chengdu Airlines Airbus A319-112 brings a modern Chinese narrowbody to Microsoft Flight Simulator X with a detailed Project Airbus external model and accurate airline textures. It includes a working panel, sound set, and virtual cockpit adapted from the default A321, delivering familiar Airbus handling for regional and domestic routes.

After years of financial difficulties of United Eagle Airlines - one of the civil airlines in China, Chengdu Traffic Investment Group,Sichuan Airlines and Commercial Aircraft Corporation reached an reconstruction agreement, which led to the nowadays Chengdu Airlines. The airlines, which is based in Chengdu,Sichuan, was set up in January,2010, and is operating several A319s and A320s.

Installation:

Unzip the folder "Project Airbus A319-112 Chengdu Airlines" to Flight Simulator X/SimObjects/Airplanes.

Copy all the files in the Effects folder to Flight Simulator X/Effects.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

    Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.

  3. Verify in FSX

    Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
