Textures for the Virtavia F4 Phantom Update Pack2 in the paint scheme of the VX-4 "Bicentennial" from 1976. In this year in the United States 200 years of the US Navy were celebrated. The textures are for Model.6 from package 2 (VIRTAVIAF-4PACK2UPX.ZIP). By Erwin Welker. (See also F4PHANTOM-BICENTENNIAL-VIRTV_FIX.ZIP)

Installation:

Download and install VirtaviaF-4Pack2upX.zip.
If you want to keep Texture.6 from pack 2, than please rename my texture folder and edit the aircraft.cfg.
You can also overwrite Texture.6 with my files.
That's it!

Attention: There might be VC compatibility problems from the former Alphasim 2004 version with the FSX updates. The VC might have some holes in the upper parts or the VC-graphic will not been displayed. Therefore, I recommend the panel-fix from Don Bodenstedt. With his panel I could solve all my VC-problems with that Phantom-version.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D Repaint

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Add livery to base aircraft folder

Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.
Update aircraft.cfg

Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.
