Kasaba Bay Airport is the gateway to Nsumbu National Park in Northern Zambia [ on the shores of Lake Tanganyika ].

Lake Tanganyika is an African Great Lake. It is estimated to be the second largest freshwater lake in the world by volume, and the second deepest, after Lake Baikal in Siberia; it is also the world's longest freshwater lake. The lake is divided among four countries – Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Tanzania and Zambia, with the DRC (45%) and Tanzania (41%) possessing the majority of the lake. The water flows into the Congo River system and ultimately into the Atlantic Ocean.

Nsumbu National Park covers an area of just over 2000 square kilometers encompassing 100 kms of lake tanganyika's most pristine shores. Its beauty ranges from sandy beaches, vertical cliffs, rocky coves and natural bays to rugged hills and deep valleys.

Nsumbu is famous for it’s excellent angling off the shoreline and some of the better catches are the large Nile perch, goliath tigerfish, vundu catfish, lake salmon and the tasty yellow belly or ‘nkupi’. Occasionally the much sought after golden perch is caught. The Zambian National Fishing Competition takes place here every year around March or April and some world records have been set here.

The FSX one was not convincing enough! ;)

I have tried to make it close to realistic as possible using Airport Design Editor v1.50 [ available for free at Avsim ] and the objects that are available for use from FSX.

Installation:

Drop the FLKY.bgl and FLKY_cvx.BGL files into your FSX/Addon scenery/scenery folder, and away you go !
