The throttle movement was opposite (throttle back = full thrust). The propeller rotates opposite as usual nowadays. It is modeled here as the spoked wheel single seater version used in Capua flying school, said to be much more manuevrable than the dual seater. This model features reflective skin and full animations. The panel background has been created entirely from scratch, based on photographic material found on the net and some old black and white photos from the historical archive. Some gauges are default gauges, the others have been created by the authors. Included in this model there is also a simple virtual cockpit, with working essential flight instruments and animated flight controls. By Giovanni Quai and Italo D'Attomo.

This is a full package (aircraft and panel) for FSX. (Please read Notes at the bottom of this page).
This file works also on FS 2004, but the sound configuration might require a change.
FOREWORD
The I.M.A.M, Romeo RO-41 was a Royal Italian Air Force single and dual seater military trainer in service from 1934 to early 40's.
The RO-41 was similar to the Boeing Stearman.
It was in use also in Germany and Spain.
The throttle mouvement was opposite (Throttle back = full thrust).
The propeller rotates opposite as usual nowdays.
We modeled here the spoked wheel used in Capua flying school single seater version, said to be much more manouevrable than the dual seater.
Flying the RO-41 thousands italian cadets got their final military training and earned their combat wings.
Soon after they were sent in battle and many lost their lives in ferocious air combats. Some became aces and many became heros.
We had the honour to meet some of them.
Thank you for downloading this package, we hope you'll enjoy it.
IMPORTANT!
You MUST also insert the enclosed 'GougeSound.dll' in the Main FS2004 folder, otherwise you will experience an FS crash!!
FREEWARE!
This model features reflective skin and full animations.
The panel background has been created entirely from scratch, based on few photographic material found on the net and some old black and white photos from the Historical archive.
We used also some fantasy due lack of sure informations.
Some gauges are default gauges, the others have been created by the authors.
Included in this model there is also a simple Virtual Cockpit, with working essential flight instruments and animated flight controls.

NOTE:
We installed this model on our FSX Deluxe Edition ''airplanes'' folder, without installers, simply following the above procedure.
Note 1: After installing the "RO41"folder ( AS IS ) into the FSX gauge folder, loading the aircraft for the first time you will get an 'unknown author' message for each of our gauges. Click 'YES' if you like our gauges or 'NO' if you don't. If you say 'NO' you will not have our instruments displayed on the panel, except the default ones.
Note 2: You will get a second message asking you to "trust" the related gauge; if you "trust" it and say "Yes" when asked, you will never be asked again. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BOTH MESSAGES .
Note 3: If you want to see a different panel, copy or aliase a panel of a single engine prop-airplane of your choice or create a panel by yourself, in these cases the VC will not be shown correctly.
Note 4: Installing & using this package is at your own risk.
Note 5: Settings\Display\Graphics; selecting ''Light_Bloom'' check box, in the global options window, might not be compatible with our reflecting textures and the selected rotating plane may not appear. However, selecting 'Fly Now' the plane will be shown and work correctly.
