Unfortunately the airline is now "gone but not forgotten" having finally ceased operating in 2002. The aircraft is a repaint of the "Kittyhawk Studios" model with 32 bit (no mips) main fuselage and tail textures, and DXT3 frame rate friendly textures for the remainder. The model is complete with default panel and sound files. The cabin windows have been repositioned in accordance with detail photos of the actual aircraft. Special thanks to Erick Cantu and Kittyhawk Studios whose model and paint kit form the basis for the repaint. Repainted by John Newman.
Screenshot of Midway Boeing 737-700 on runway.
Included is:
N367ML: Believed to be one of the last aircraft in service with Midway.
The aircraft is a complete package and includes all necessary files. The package is configured to use the default B737-400 panel and sound. To get the best out of this excellent model it is recommended that you download and use a realistic 737 NG panel and also a suitable sound package of which there are several available on this site.
The fuselage and tail textures of the model are 32 bit with Alpha but with no mips for better quality, whilst the remaining textures are DXT3 for quicker load time. They are in the main hand painted and the cabin windows have been repositioned in accordance with detail photos. Please note that these textures are not for commercial sale and also are not affiliated with or endorsed by Midway or their successors.
Installation:
After unzipping the downloaded file then "copy and paste" or "drag and drop" the "Kittyhawk 737 Midway" folder from the unzipped file to the Microsoft Games\FS2004\Aircraft folder. The aircraft will appear under the "Boeing 737-700" entry in the FS2004 index.
Thanks/Credits:
Special thanks to Erick Cantu and Kittyhawk Studios whose model and paint kit form the basis for the repaint.
