Also referred to as Jumbo Jet, or Queen of the Skies, the Boeing's stellar engineering and robust yet sleek design has made it the most widely used commercial aircraft in its class. The Boeing 747 is available in multiple versions, with models specialized for passengers, freight, and other uses. It’s also among the fastest airliners in its class, with a subsonic cruise speed of Mach .85-.855, and also boasts an intercontinental range of as much as 7260 nautical miles.
