This is an optional flight dynamics upgrade for the Lockheed Constellation series for FS9/FSX originally released by Manfred Jahn and Team.
It allows to taxi the aircraft at considerably lower power settings than previously to allow a more realistic handling. It covers all variations of the Lockheed Constellation series released by the team. These are:
- L-749 Constellation
- L-1049G/H Super Constellation
- EC-121 Warning Star
- L-1649A Starliner
The current FDE assumes that the 2010 updates for L-749/1049/1649 are installed. Some editing of the aircraft.cfg file is required.
Beyond that, it also fixes a small bug in the L-1649A Starliner release resulting from wrong file names for both .air file and checklist. This error and a possible fix had been mentioned in the support forum. We apologize for the mistake. The quick fix was to either rename the .air file or change the relevant entries in the aircraft.cfg file. This update will both replace the .air files from ver. 2.2 and 3.0 with a current one, as well as an updated alternative checklist. This way, both misdirected and fixed references for the files will work.
