Editorial

This mod was one that I decided to try out on one of my (too many) train journeys across the UK. My faithful old FS2004 laptop came with me and during my flight I decided to pick up this camera mod and see what all the fuss was about!

This functional camera mod is very useful, albeit limited to use in the Seattle area. It works perfectly, though, and offers something fresh and easy to use whilst being genuinely quite a valuable add-on. New camera views are included so that you can fly with something a bit different to the normal virtual cockpit views that you might be used to, giving you excellent views that are nice and easy to control.

It also adds in new features like head latency, turbulence and even mouse panning for easy scrolling around. It’s these simple little changes that make all the difference and offer a greater level of functionality across the board

The range of views that you get are very useful and they make it much easier for you to manage your aircraft. From wing view and passenger views to presets that are included from useful vantage points, you should have no problems at all in controlling your aircraft without any particular problems.

Best of all you can save up to ten presets that you enjoy using which makes it even more effective, giving you a much stronger quality of flight. You’ll be able to notice other smaller changes like ambient noise, stress sounds from the aircraft working and various main features along the way. It’s these little changes that make a big difference in this camera mod and whilst it may not be a game-changer by any stretch of the imagination, it’s definitely worth trying out if you still use FS2004 and tend to fly over the Seattle area.
