Ching Chuan Kang Air Base (RCMQ), Taiwan. This is an improvement of the default RCMQ Ching Chuan Kang Air Base, a dual-use airport in Central Taiwan that was built by the US in 1960s. Satellite imagery available online was used to reposition taxiways, add and resize aprons, and add civilian gates and military aircraft parking. Ching Chuan Kang Air Base Scenery.
This is an improvement of the default RCMQ Ching Chuan Kang Air Base, a dual-use airport in Central Taiwan that was built by the US in 1960s to serve as a divert base for B-52 bombers during Vietnam War. It is now the home of ROCAF 427th Tactical Fighter Wing flying F-CK-1 Ching-Kuo fighters. It is also served by airlines with flights to domestic destinations as well as Hongkong, China, and Vietnam. Satellite imagery available online were used to reposition taxiways, add and resize aprons, and add civilian gates and military aircraft parking. Prominent buildings were represented using stock library objects. Created using Airport Design Editor 1.39b by Mike Huang.
Aircraft Parking Guide:
1. Gates 1~8 as well as all helicopter pads are on the civilian terminal.
2. S Parking 1~4 are the ready aircraft shelters near the end of Runway 18.
3. The remaining parking locations are on the 3 aprons.
Installation:
1. unzip the content of this package to the Addon Scenery folder of your FSX.
2. start FSX, and add this scenery from the menu.
This package is supplied as freeware and SHALL NOT be used nor distributed in any manner for generating monetary profit. Repaints, and distribution thereof, are welcome.
