FSX / P3D Repaint

Cessna 172 ZS-MOC

Cessna 172 ZS-MOC brings a South African-registered look to the default Skyhawk 172SP, delivering crisp exterior markings and matching in-sim identification for a more authentic general aviation ramp presence. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator, it complements the stock flight model and virtual cockpit while adding a distinctive real-world repaint.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D Repaint
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Add livery to base aircraft folder

Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.
  3. Update aircraft.cfg

Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

What memories this repaint brings back. I did my PPL with Johannesburg School of Flying at Rand Airport in the early 80's. Obviously I had to have this repaint.
