FSX Royal Jordanian Boeing 787-8

Royal Jordanian 787-8 Features

Royal Jordanian, the flag carrier of Jordan, operates the 787-8 on both regional and international routes. In this rendition, creators have focused on precise fuselage lines and distinctive airline branding. The Boeing 787-8 (sometimes referred to in aviation circles as the “Dreamliner”) is recognized for its advanced composite structures and efficient aerodynamics. This version has been updated with CamSim’s second-generation refinements, resulting in seamlessly aligned textures and more responsive animations.

AGS (Animated Ground Servicing)

This release integrates the Animated Ground Servicing system. AGS activates ground vehicles, passenger steps, and cargo handling, enhancing overall realism when your aircraft is parked at a gate or stand position. Pilots can access these custom animations through dedicated key commands configured in FSX.

Key Animation Controls

• Shift + E opens and closes main passenger doors.
• Shift + E + 2 toggles small rear cargo doors (intended for FSX ground operations).
• Shift + D manages the large cargo access doors.
• Shift + C initiates or ends ground services animations.

Additionally, make sure to assign “Wing fold/unfold” to Shift + C and “Tail hook up/down” to Shift + D within your FSX controls menu, enabling correct responses for the on-screen services.

Installation Steps

1. Unzip all included files into the “Airplane” folder of FSX. This step places the main Royal Jordanian 787-8 aircraft files where the simulator can recognize them.
2. If you do not already have one of the developer’s AGS aircraft, extract the Effects.zip contents into the main FSX directory. The night lighting effects should reside in the “Effects” folder to function correctly.
