Macchi MB308-G. The Macchi MB. 308G was a light aircraft produced in Italy in the late 1940s, one of the most prolific Italian-built types of the following decade. It was a conventional high-wing cantilever monoplane with fixed tricycle landing gear. Powered by a 110 hp Continental C-110 engine. Wooden construction throughout. The pilot and the passenger or flight instructor sat side-by-side plus one pax or baggage in the added back seat. The model is fully animated and features the usual moving parts, such as flight controls, spinning wheels, animated crew and more. The panel background has been created from photographic material found in the net. Most of the gauges have been created by the authors. You MUST also insert the enclosed 'GougeSound.dll' in the Main FSX folder, otherwise you will experience a FS crash!!

The model is fully animated and features the usual moving parts, such as flight controls, spinning wheels, animated crew and more. The panel background has been created from photographic material found in the net.
The most part of the gauges have been created by the authors.
Included in this model there is also a simplified Virtual Cockpit, with working essential gauges and animated flight controls.
A similar model with registration 'I-MACK' was flown in a raid from Milano to Adelaide (Australia) in 1951.
INSTALLATION (please read note at the bottom of this page)

Just unzip this file into your FSX\SimObjects\airplanes folder and you will find a"MB_308G" folder with the usual subfolders, plus a 'GougeSound.dll', and a ''MB308'' gauges folder, then operate as follows:
Step 1-Copy/Paste ''MB308'' Gauge Folder (AS IS) into the main FSX Gauge Folder.
Step 2-Copy/Paste the 'GougeSound.dll' in your main FSX Folder (if you don't have it yet).

NOTE FOR THE EXPERT SIMMER:
We installed this model on our FSX ''airplanes'' Folder and every thing works ok.
Note: If you install, the 'MB308' Folder, into the FSX gauge folder, at the first launch you will get an 'unknown author' message and a 'trust' message for each of our 7 gauges.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BOTH MESSAGES...!!! (The 'MB308' gauges Folder may be easy removed from the main FSX gauges folder).
Click 'YES ' if you accept/ trust our gauges or 'NO' if you don't. If you say no, you will not have instruments on your panel except the default ones.
If you don't like our panel please aliase a FSX panel, or create a new panel by yourself. In this case the VC will not display correctly.
