This custom repaint showcases a fictional “Saguenay Express” livery for the iconic Beechcraft King Air 350, developed by Jean-Pierre Couture for Microsoft Flight Simulator X. This package focuses on external textures for the default FSX Beech_King_Air_350 model, so the base aircraft from Microsoft Flight Simulator X is required. Created by Jean-Pierre Couture, these textures introduce a vivid scheme that reflects hypothetical regional airline branding. The custom design complements the King Air’s signature lines that many operators favor for executive transport, sightseeing flights, and light cargo roles. The “Saguenay Express” name invokes the feel of scenic journeys over forested landscapes and waterways found in certain parts of Canada.

Essential Steps for Installation

1. Back up or save your existing aircraft.cfg file from the Beechcraft King Air 350 directory.
2. Extract the archive’s contents to a temporary folder.
3. Move the included textures folder into your FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes/Beech_King_Air_350 directory.
4. Open aircraft.cfg in a text editor and append the following section, replacing “XXX” with the next consecutive [fltsim] number:

5. Save the modified aircraft.cfg file. You will then see the new Saguenay Express repaint available in your FSX aircraft selection menu.
