The scenery includes many airfields and glider fields in the south of Germany and also includes landclass for the entire country. Apart from the airfields one can find many other landmarks to navigate VFR on. And of course the German Autobahn's are included to guide you as well!

Also included in the scenery are provinces of Rheinland-Pfalz, Saarland and Baden-Württemberg. German Scenery Part 1 is highly optimized with 37 stunning ICAO airfields, 23 PPR glider slides in full detail, mesh terrains for the entire area and landclass for all of Germany.

Scenery installation is an easy 2-step process requiring ‘install’ and ‘activate’. Once you have configured the scenery using launcher application, we get access to season tool and traffic tool to configure season and traffic settings. Covering the south west part of Germany, Scenery Germany 1 includes all the airports in the region including the smallest of them.

A lot of attention is paid to details ensuring that all roads, coast lines, rivers, canals, cities and villages are meticulously detailed. The detailing of airports is remarkable for its coverage of various activities going on – taking off and landing of other aircrafts, servicing and passenger movement. An extra touch of realism is added by inclusion of dynamic moving vehicular traffic.

To add to the overall realism, the textures are wonderfully done. The color of the airport surface has the needed variations to distinguish between concrete and asphalt surfaces. The painted markings look excellent and are easy to follow.

The night lights are also well-done and look realistic. German Scenery 1 is optimized for VFR flights and the entire covered region is filled by VFR objects allowing easy discovery of landmarks like castles along the Mosel and Reign rivers, valleys, highways, canals, mountains, industrial plants, transmitting towers, power plants and many historical buildings in South-west Germany.
