Editorial

The old United Express livery is one that I have seen in the skies more than once, but never used. However I have been on the CRJ-200 in the past and it was not only very similar to this remake, but it came with the same level of precision and control that many of the remakes I’ve tried over the years can bring to the table.

For me, one of the most impressive factors about this mod was that – for an FS2004 model – this look arguably the best that you are likely to see it. The new colors do a great job of improving the aircraft and bringing it to life in the most spectacularly enjoyable manner possible.

This comes with re-done wing textures, a new darkened interior which fits with reality and much fairer cockpit textures. This makes it much easier to see what you are doing but also ensures that the textures don’t become a major problem for you – they won’t become a distraction. This helps the whole thing blend together in the most enjoyable manner, also giving you an easy and effective way to enjoy a different kind of flight once and for all.

The levels of detail on the cockpit are excellent, providing something that looks brilliant whilst also giving you something fresh and engaging that actually makes FS2004 look a bit better again. This is a really good model and a great level of detail and realism has been implemented, making something that is both fun to be messing around with and a model that is very close to the real thing.

The addition of 32-bit textures also helps to sell the level of detail, but the performance levels are just as good too!

The dynamics are very impressive, creating an aircraft that feels more or less just as it should. The whole thing comes together and makes something fresh, fun and engaging that can really give you all the help that you need in buying into the aircraft.

Having had the pleasure of using this mod for some time, I would quite happily recommend this to anyone who wants to engage with a new flight experience, it’s a bit different to the normal aircraft of this size but it’s very much easy to get used to – it will make your life much easier in general, improving the level of enjoyment that this provides.

For a new level of enjoyment that can be quite hard to find in many different freebie mods, try this out – I’m very happy with it.

Could use a new panel, but works just as well with the Bombardier panel supplied with the business jet.
