This freeware package features a meticulously rendered Boeing 737-200 in Cruzeiro’s PP-CJN registration, fully compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. It includes a custom flight dynamics file and offers textured details that reflect the classic era of Brazilian commercial aviation. Created by Erick Cantu (base model), with flight dynamics from Mike Baumann and repaints by Adriano Martoni, this release provides an authentic tribute to Cruzeiro’s historic operations.
Notable Characteristics of the Classic Boeing 737-200
The 737-200, part of Boeing’s earlier series, stood out as a shorter-range platform well-suited for regional routes. Cruzeiro, once a major airline in Brazil, utilized this robust jetliner for both domestic and near-international flights. This add-on showcases the distinct PP-CJN registration, reflecting Cruzeiro’s unique livery and offering simmers a vintage perspective on commercial aviation across South America.
Paintwork and Hand-Drawn Refinements
A significant highlight of this package lies in the hi-res 32-bit textures. These textures are meticulously hand-drawn, preserving intricate design elements on the fuselage and tail. Each rivet, panel gap, and color contrast accentuates the aircraft’s real-world appearance. Since the repaint is entirely original, distribution or unauthorized alterations of these textures are strictly prohibited out of respect for the painter’s work.

Streamlined Installation Steps
Installing the aircraft is straightforward. Download and unzip all contents, then place the extracted folder named B732_vsp into the main Aircraft directory of your simulator. For enhanced engine smoke effects, locate the SMOKE_JT8D file and drop it into the primary Effects folder. This ensures the model correctly simulates classical JT8D engine output and visual trails.
Complementary Flight Dynamics
The flight dynamics (FDE) have been curated by Mike Baumann to replicate how the 737-200 would handle during takeoff, cruise, and landing phases. These parameters align with the aircraft’s weight distribution, engine thrust, and aerodynamic properties, delivering an authentic sensation within Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004.
Added Technical Highlights
- Freeware Integration: This download comes with a base model originally designed by Erick Cantu and includes every file you need, eliminating external dependencies.
- Cruzeiro Legacy: The retro paint scheme represents Cruzeiro’s once-prominent role in Brazil’s domestic aviation market and evokes historical air travel nostalgia.
- Precision Texturing: Every texture layer is published in 32-bit format for the utmost fidelity and tonal accuracy.
