KIAH, George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Houston, Texas (TX) for use with Simflyers scenery only. By Adrian Norman.
Overview of George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
This is a remake of Simflyers G. Bush Intercontinental (KIAH) Afcad 2 file. I have tried to gather as much information from the airport website to make gate assignments as real as possible. This file is for use without the static planes in the scenery folder. Runways 8L/26R & 15R/33L is used for landing, 8R/26L & 15L/33R for takeoff, and 09/27 for both. This afcad uses crossing runways so all runways are in use. All taxiways and runways are properly aligned. Hope you enjoy this new afcad 2 file.
Installation:
- Copy the AF2_KIAH.bgl file into the Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery\scenery folder if this is where you keep all of your afcad 2 bgl's.
Jim Vile has released an update ILS activation file for KIAH. I use his KIAH_SF_ILS_jv.bgl file from the kiah_ils_v2.0 zip file to activate runways 8L/26R & 8R/26L ILS approaches through ATC. It works great with this AFCAD file. You only need to use and activate the KIAH_SF_ILS_jv.bgl file. installation instructions are within Jim's zip file.
Acknowledgment for Jim Vile's kiah_ils_v2.0 zip file.
