X-Plane Australia Complete Photoreal Scenery

Hi There Great file. I however live in a regional area of Australia where the internet is pretty inconsistent and was wondering if there was a torrent ink available. this would solve my problem!

I've downloaded the file. and while it looks promising it seems a bit grainy to me. I'm using XP 12 plus I have also installed alpilotX. I'm flying at 5000ft with a Cessna. Clearly, when I'm flying much higher it is great but when getting down to 5000 it is still good but much grainier. this is how it is supposed to work? Thoughts?

The layers required for these installs are like a 12-step program. Good on you for offering! but it just is such a time suck it's a bit crazy.

Hi. The scenery is great although there are parts of western Australia around Karratha and port Hedland there missing. This is from two different sources, not a conversion error. Is there any way of seeing what files are supposed to be included so I can see which files are missing so I can separately source through ortho4xplane? Unfortunately, when you reach an area without scenery the game crashes. Thx.

I'm also confused about using the HD Mesh - it overrides this photo scenery!

Can someone explain this to me? From other things I've read, if the Ortho is above the HD mesh v4 in the ini file, the HD mesh v4 will not be used at all? I'm new to this, so I might be missing something important?

Is there some way of contacting the developer for support? The sample layouts are brilliant but I am having difficulty installing them correctly. I have followed the directions in the readme.txt file but it is not loading. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have the file cut up in parts? A one file download of 68gb won't work for me due to its size.

They seem to be using the Google Dataset for this, it works fine for areas that are sampled regularly but not for those that aren't. As an example, south of Cairns there is a lot of places in mountainous areas that are not sampled at the same rate as surrounding areas so they're different colors because the photos were taken on different days.

A better source of data would be bing.

Please make the separate tiles available for download instead of packaging them together as one massive ZIP file.

Cannot get this to look like this for me in-game, I've tried every way of rearranging my scenery.ini perhaps I'm just a silly old fool.

Please create a torrent for this. It is too big and keeps crashing on download. Even being able to put it in a download manager would be good!

Is there a way to download about 30 tiles at a time for different states of Australia as I'm not able to download that high amount of GB. I do realize it will take a long long time but if it is that good it'll be worth it. Wayne.

Loaded this up this afternoon after it downloaded overnight. Adds much more details to AU as a whole. I already had the HD Mesh installed first so had to get the scenery_packs.ini in the correct order. I also found X-Plane will load scenery in the Custom Scenery folder without adding any information to scenery_packs.ini.

However, I did add the scenery to scenery_packs.ini just to get the right order.

A brilliant addition to my flight sim experience - I seem to be running out of disk space though!
