LHSimulations is proud to announce the release of his very first scenery. Yesterday the Sármellék LHSM scenery is available for download. It is still a beta version, but the full v1.00 will follow soon. The scenery currently available only for FS2004 but with version 1.00 we intend to include the FSX version as well. The developement lasted almost a year.
Some words about the airport. Sármellék, FlyBalaton Airport (ICAO: LHSM) is one of the five international Airport in Hungary. It is located on the west side of Balaton, the biggest lake in the country. The airport in the past served soviet military operations, sometimes it housed more than 50 MIG-21's. In 1980 the air force moved from the airport and it became an international public airport. In 2002 They have built a terminal and one year later a cargo buliding as well.

Unfortunately there was no Flight Simulator scenery for this airport beside it is very popular among the flight simulator community.
One year ago three of us decided to try to create a reasonable good quality scenery with low system requirement. None of us had experience creating sceneries but with some help from online community we received the necessary know-how.
For us this mileston is not only publishing a new scenery this is also a "big day" for the Hungarian scenery and aircraft designers. We have created a web site and a forum where we would like to collect all Hungarian designers to share the know-how and experiences. We hope with this we can speed up the developments made for Hungarian sceneries or aircraft.
