X-Aviation announce its release of the most complete GA single simulation in X-Plane, the Sequoia Falco.
Sequoia Falco offers a highly interactive cockpit in 3D. In the press release, X-Aviation stated that they expect their customers to enjoy the experience which Sequoia Falco provides. X-Aviation also stated that Falco is for simulators who enjoy GA flying or those who need a good GA to practice their scanning skills on while working the radios and other controls.

In February 2010, X-Aviation in conjunction with RealScenery announced a new product line scenery for X-Plane.
This new product line scenery for X-Plane will be called “Enhanced” and it will include many new features to the previous RealScenery releases.

We have some good news from the hangars of Laminar Research: X-Plane version 10 has now been released to the general public. This was announced on the 24th November, 2011 - sorry we are a little late to report it, we have been very busy working behind the scenes on the Fly Away Simulation website.

FSWidgets EFBXP (Electronic Flight Bag for X-Plane) Version 1.2 has been released adding many new features including support for the free GMap moving map system, X-Plane 8 and 9 compatibility, PNG weather image handling and support for systems with 120 DPI (Large Fonts).

The flight simulation industry will have an eventful year in 2011. X-Plane 10 is expected to release sometime in 3Q11. Microsoft Flight, a new take on the old Microsoft Flight Simulator, is rumored to be ready later this year as well. Despite all the anticipation, a larger question remains for X-Plane fans - what can be expected from X-Plane 10 in terms of new features, airplanes, scenery, and the long awaited improvement in ATC?

X-Plane flight simulator series has been with us for many years now, and from Version 9, we can say it has been a good competitor in the flight simulation market; for both PC/Mac home use and for professional flight simulation installations. Announced earlier this year was Version 10 of the X-Plane package. Version 10 will bring amazing new features such as better graphics, world environments and cockpit/flight functionality. While the full feature list hasn't yet been released by Laminar Research (the developers of X-Plane), we have cited some of the confirmed details from around the Internet.

In a press release, X-Plane development company X-Aviation have announced a partnership with JRollon.com to produce their seaplane package for X-Plane titles the Seamax M-22. The add-on aircraft features a complete 3D model design with realistic flight dynamics and many 3D effects.

Just released from developer Heinz Dziurowitz is the P38-J Lightning add-on for X-Plane. This package features a fully functional cockpit including animated controls, animated pilot and other great features. The exterior of the aircraft features a detailed landing gear and flight surface.

FSWidgets has released GMap for X-Plane, a free moving map system
that connects to Google Maps, displays X-Plane FMS flight plans and
loads aeronautical charts. The FSX editions have been very popular
and we hope the X-Plane community will also have fun with this
navigation aid.

RealScenery announces new X-Plane scenery covering the beautiful State of
Tennessee, USA. The State of Tennessee scenery contains incredibly detailed imagery
covering over 42,000 square miles / 109,000 square kilometers. This new
scenery package contains over 17,700 images! Screenshot galleries and a
downloadable demo are now available.

This is data cycle 2009.05 valid from 07 May 2009 to 04 June 2009. There
are many global updates, including hundreds of bush strips in Botswana and
Namibia, highly detailed airports at EDDH, EDDM, KPAE (for the upcoming
Boeing 787 first flight), and the first airport layout to include a golf
course (VTBD Bangkok).

This is data cycle 2009.04 valid from 09 Apr 2009 to 7 May 2009. This is
the first release to include up-to-date data from the FAA national Flight
Database (NFD). At this time we are including updated fixes, NDBs, VORs and
DMEs for North America from the NFD. There are also many other global
airport and nav-aid updates from other X-Plane users, including a lot of new
airports in South America.

Vagar Airport for X-Plane 9 is now finally here. With state of the art graphics, this is the airport you need for your X-Plane 9 add-on content. Vagar Airport was originally an military airport used during the 2nd World War, but has since become an international passenger airport. Vagar Airport is only the first of many airports to come for both X-Plane and Flight Simulator.

New data is now available for X-Plane. This is data cycle 2009.01. This data works with the very latest X-Plane release (currently X-Plane 9.30b2) and includes many new global airport details. Two different versions of the data are available, for X-Plane 8.61-8.64 and for 9.00 and later. Please make sure that you download the correct version of the data (each data version has the same content, just different file and folder names). These files will work under Windows, Mac or Linux.

X-plane and Flight illusion are proud to announce the upcoming development of an interface to drive Flight Illusion gauges directly from X-plane. Many X-plane pilots and cockpit builders have asked since years if there would ever be a driver for these gauges. X-plane developer Austin Meyer is even doing better by adding direct support for flight Illusion hardware into X-plane.

In a press release today, Andras Fabian has announced his latest Overlay Scenery for X-Plane. Andras goes on to say: "It is a vastly improved version over the first release, and was greatly helped (in the visual domain) by a Swiss gentleman called Albert Laubi. Included within this release are regionalized forests, new layers to help the appearance of trees and a new texture set to enhance regions with the lack of dense forests. This will result in better visuals.
