Straight-from-the-factory finish for a North American P-51D-20-NA built at Inglewood in late 1944, pairing newly refined cockpit textures with interior surfaces reflecting a new-build airframe. Developed by John Terrell, the repaint emphasizes pristine production details and just-rolled-off-the-line appearance for WWII warbird authenticity.
Late-production P-51D-20-NA repaint by John Terrell replicating J26 Fv26158 with its final Green K code. Accurate Swedish markings and serial, color layout tuned to the late-service scheme, and livery details honoring the original “Twilight Tear” heritage from 78th Fighter Group operations.
Texture set by John Terrell depicting IDAF 3506 during Israeli service, matching its mid-century paint with subtle remnants of Swedish markings. Designed for the “Twilight Tear, Then and Now” model, it concentrates on historically faithful coloration and surface finishing for a period-correct exterior.
Red D camouflage with Swedish insignia is recreated through carefully referenced stenciling and metallic skin surfaces, tailored to the P-51D-20-NA airframe. Within the host model, refined flight dynamics yield realistic torque and high-speed maneuvering, an era-accurate cockpit with custom gauges and authentic instrumentation, and the variant’s Packard V-1650 engine.
Battle-worn repaint evokes a United States Navy WW2 machine, with 2D and 3D cockpit textures, war emergency power, folding wings and a tail hook, plus exhaust flames and plume effects; updated by Mark Rooks. Built on Guy Hulin’s original.
Twin-engine prop transport-bomber recreation with a VC featuring animated flight controls and working gauges, based on photos of similar designs from the era. Middle East desert paint and the Pegasus sound file by Gary Jones complete a focused portrayal of its dual-role heritage.
Texture set for the v4 model by Dave Garwood, recreating G-AHKV from photographs with colours sampled from a single image. Two variants mirror roof details (grey escape hatch versus all‑black 1960 roof) and an authentic 1957 nose badge, reflecting its Mk 6 conversion prototype with sophisticated electrical and navigation equipment.
Custom flight dynamics for a Wright J6-9 Whirlwind powerplant anchor a package with new livery and panel work, plus the original model and basic texture set and a Tim Dement sound pack. VC with auxiliary mini-panel supports VFR aerobatics, and start logic requires 1/8-inch throttle and primer before engaging.
Panel overhaul replaces incompatible gauges in both 2D and VC with Vladimir Zhyhulskiy’s gauges, adds a texture thumbnail, and refreshes glass and prop textures. The type is documented with eight Mikulin AM-34FRN 900-hp engines, 137 mph maximum speed, 14,764 ft ceiling, 750 mi range, and seating for 8 crew plus 72 passengers.
Texture set for the David Carroll native edition of Milton Shupe’s D‑18, with skin, bump maps, and specular mapping for a natural finish. The livery blends archive photos of a C‑45 Expeditor; EC‑ASJ registration entry is provided in the configuration sample.
Fantasy Halloween livery for the default Microsoft model, created by Garry J. Smith and Edward C. Moore. Part of the Ford-Tri-Motor.net project, which also gathers many liveries for the default Ford Tri-Motor and some for a Flamingo, along with around 30 unique historical and fictional packs.
V1.1 brings a fixed altimeter and stock gauges, effects, and sounds, with models and textures by SWingman. Manual start is simulated via an engine-start view and clicking a prop blade; cowl panels map to the spoiler key, and the fuel gauge can be obscured by a passenger’s head—suggested for aerobatics: keep tanks under half.
Remodeled series adds bump mapping, dynamic shine, high-resolution textures, VC shadowing, and revised flight dynamics reflecting each type. Four variants are included—Gipsy landplane and amphibian plus Cirrus landplane and seaplane—along with a P-8 compass, wing fold and door hot point controls in the VC, optional 2D panel, and a paint kit.
Full animations, 3D gauges, and baked textures enhance a rendition of the 1937 single-seat, low-wing ultra-light monoplane, with an Aeronca-J.A.P. J-99 (36 h.p.) engine and revised airframe/undercarriage, presented in two variations: G-AEXT and race G-AMJP.
1935 scout bomber milestone, first to exceed 200 mph and first US Navy plane with cowl flaps, modeled with animated flight controls, cowl flaps, and a VC based on real photos with dark-red backlit gauges. DXT5.dds textures with specular shine and three liveries for USS Lexington (CV-2), USS Saratoga (CV-3), and USS Ranger (CV-4).
ST-MS-2 Float repaint depicting registration CF-BTH by B. Lechner for the Golden Age Simulations model. The set contains texture _CF-BTH, config metadata for ui_type ST-MS-2 Float and ui_variation CF-BTH, and references ST_ref and ST_Check; repaint only for the float-equipped variant.
Full animations, 3D gauges, and baked textures accompany a single engine prop role, plus a Yellow CF-ABZ variation. History notes participation in the 1931 Kings Cup (13th place) followed by service as a Canadian Air Force trainer.
Norway-themed repaint for the float variant, supplying texture._NORWAY and config entries with ui_type ST-MS-2 Float, ui_variation Norway, and ui_createdby Golden Age Simulations; kneeboard links use ST_ref and ST_Check. Model, panel, and sound entries remain blank; title string tags 'N O R W A Y'; by B. Lechner.
RAF-themed repaint for a float-equipped trainer brings period-accurate colors to fuselage and float rigging, with subtle weathering and panel line detail. Prepared by B. Lechner for the corresponding payware model, it preserves the classic outline while supporting water operations evocative of late-1930s service.
Full animations, 3D gauges, and baked textures define the presentation, with two selectable configurations including an Austrian texture option. Configuration data shows a custom prop animation ratio (-1.76) and separate texture slots, while panel, model, and sound remain shared for consistency.
