Added Views For The Bombardier Dash 8 Q400

The regional turboprop Q400 gains six exterior viewpoints and five cockpit perspectives via camera definitions created by Marc Renaud for Premier Aircraft Design, with angles located near the wings, engine nacelles, and tail. A new [Views] section is added to aircraft.cfg, drawing content from camera definitions.txt.

Overland SMS Airbus A330 Gauge Upgrade Fix

By Dimitrios Moschos, this upgrade refines the Overland A330 cockpit instruments and works with SMS_A330_GAUGE_UPDATE.ZIP. When other authors’ gauge sets exist, avoid placing updates in the main folder; instead install them in the aircraft panel folder or rename cab.* to a330x and adjust panel.Cfg accordingly.

VTOL/Hover Gauge For Wilco Tiltrotor

Version 4.0 introduces V(S)TOL and hover capability for a tiltrotor, with a gauge-coded FDE that overrides standard flight dynamics when nacelles rotate from the normal position. All ten nacelle positions, except the fully forward setting, fall under gauge control, adds a down-camera for Vertical Landings, and includes rotorwash dust.

Automatic Afterburners

This freeware gauge, by Rob Barendregt and Don Bodenstedt, governs flame and afterburner effects for two engines via the LIGHTS section (numbers 6 through 9) of the aircraft.cfg. Flame on requires N1 over 10 percent and afterburner on requires throttle over 90 percent, with workaround in the states (0 and 1) and an all-lights toggle.

CS Weapon VC 3dHUD For Acceleration F/A-18

An integration places the 3dHUD cockpit overlay from CS Weapon into the F/A-18, by adjusting the eyepoint to -17.0, 0.0, 3.38 in the Aircraft.CFG. The package includes CSWeapon.XML under the FA-18 folder at 0.0,14.40,3.38,0.310 for swap-in, and updates the panel gauge to CSWeapon!hud3d at 569.8, 523, 462, 500 with 4 NOSCANLINES.

Virtavia F-4 Phantom Package 1 Panel Fix

Don Bodenstedt delivers a VC panel fix for the Virtavia F-4 Phantom II first edition, adding a panel.DCBVx folder to replace the cockpit. Users modify aircraft.cfg to panel=DCBVx and copy the cab from the third edition’s panel folder; it does not work with the second edition and is unnecessary for the third.
