This package provides a blank canvas for creators aiming to customize and refine liveries on the SGA A300B4-200 model in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. Released by Steve Drabek, it contains raw bitmap files for the fuselage and engines that you may process through your preferred texture conversion workflow. Ideal for those who want a foundation for detailed artwork, these files preserve vital seams and shapes for accurate alignment when painting.
Technical Components and File Preparation
Because the fuselage and engine layers arrive in an uncompressed format, they do not function in the simulator until they are converted into a compatible layout. The wings and night textures, however, are already in DXT3 format (a compression method that helps maintain clarity while optimizing file size). If you require fully uncompressed bitmaps of the wings and night layers, please note that they are not included here yet.
Paint Kit Development
The author is actively developing a more comprehensive paint kit, which will include master .PSP (PaintShop Pro) and .PSD (Photoshop) project files. These advanced masters will provide layered fuselage maps that can be manipulated quickly. The layered setup is especially helpful for adding logos, rivet details, and other custom markings in a non-destructive manner.

Aircraft Context
The Airbus A300B4-200 is a notable wide-body design that first introduced twin-engined capabilities to the medium-range sector. In the simulation environment, this particular model by SGA captures the classic geometry, ensuring that layered repaint work aligns with authentic dimensions. The airframe’s distinctive profile, combined with its reputation in commercial service, means you can experiment with both vintage and modern-style repaints.
