It serves as an enhancement to the main SCDSYK40.ZIP pack (essential) and provides an authentic look for enthusiasts using Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. Installation is handled by a convenient self-extracting file, making the process straightforward. Created by developer Igor Suprunov, it ensures a faithful rendition of the aircraft’s fuselage details and includes additional thanks to Zbynek Pavlon for the rivet work that is featured in SCDS textures.

Overview of the Yak-40 Repaint

This repaint focuses on Tajikistan’s color scheme and integrates fully with the Yak-40 v1.3 pattern, accommodating cargo and passenger needs through a versatile fuselage structure. The Yak-40 itself is a compact, tri-engine jet configured originally for short-haul routes, and this package reflects its adaptation to different operational profiles. The side cargo door in this version makes load operations more practical without compromising internal cabin features.

Compatibility and Key Notes

This mod requires the official SCDS Yak-40 v1.3 package. It is not compatible with any 1.2 release candidate for the Yak-40K. The textures install directly into the simulator directory, creating an additional entry in the aircraft menu once the simulator is launched. If any subsequent patches to the Yak-40 v1.3 affect the livery, simply rerun the installer to restore all textures.

Installation Procedure

• Extract or run the provided executable, aiming the installation path at the main FS2004 folder.
• After completion, locate the newly added Tajikistan repaint in the aircraft selection menu.
• If a patch for SCDS Yak-40 v1.3 causes the livery to disappear, repeat the steps above.
