Enjoy flying one of the world’s earliest bi-planes with this custom aircraft file for Microsoft Flight Simulator X. This File contains the Fiat CR.42 plane. The CR.42 plane featured is painted in stylish army brown with a yellow nose. The Fiat CR.42 Falco was a single seat fighter plane that served mostly in Italy’s Regia Aeronautica during WWII.
The Aircraft was manufactured by the Turin firm and was also used by the air forces of Belgium, Sweden, and Hungary. More than 1800 of the aircraft were built making it the most widely used Italian Aircraft of the World War II era. The plane has been praised for it’s exceptional speed and maneuverability. The plane has a top speed of 272 miles per hour.
According to some sources the CR.42 Falco was used in the last confirmed aerial kill by a biplane in history. Microsoft Flight Simulator X is one of the most popular flight simulators currently available for PC. The game has been praised for its updated graphics compared to other games in the series. The large number of plane models available for the game has dramatically increased thanks to custom files and online content creation. To use this file simply download the zip file into your games airplane directory.

A nice and simple plane, but a pity is the nontransparent propeller: from the cockpit, no view of the runway during take-off and landing.
