How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.
  3. Verify in FSX

Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

PROS: I had no trouble loading it, and started it on the South River in Md. That is where the original Martin Co. was that built the MARS, and so many others. Fly's okay, works okay. CONS: The nose wants to sink in the water, but will correct once power is applied. I wanted to dock it, but had trouble manuvering it. I take clip shots of some of these. I actually have a framed picture 36" x 24" of a Clipper sitting in Pearll Harbor, on 6 Dec, 1941. Still very cool.

The file is perfectly fine and the plane is done very well without a cockpit and workable controls. You must start this plane on water, because it does not have any wheels.
