The Boeing 247 was a trendsetter in the early 1930’s. It was the first airliner to have an all-metal, stressed-skin, low-drag airframe and a retractable landing gear. Even when the bigger and better DC-2 and DC-3 arrived, the 247’s continued to give excellent service over the next 20 years. Flight dynamics by FSAviator. Extract the downloaded archive
Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files. -
Copy aircraft files into SimObjects
Place the aircraft folder insideFSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain anaircraft.cfgfile. Effects go intoFSX\Effects\; gauges go intoFSX\Gauges\. -
Verify in FSX
Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer. -

Every mod ships with areadme.txtorREADMEfile. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

This version is by far one of the one's truest to the original as can be had. Should you want to feel the way aviation started in the 1930's fly this plane. The aerodynamics are true and complete and the cockpit is accurate. All in all, this is one your collection should have to make a complete and accurate stable of early passenger planes.

THIS IS THE WAY THEY ALL SHOULD BE AND IT WAS A TREAT TO SEE AN INSTALL FILE THAT REALLY WORKED AND THE PLANE FLYS GREAT. THE PANEL IS EXCELLENT AND I THINK THAT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THIS DOWNLOAD. I WOULD PAY $10 FOR THIS ONE.
