Repaints for Ivan Jurcaga's MiG-21MF available from: http://migsim.ic.cz/
There was two methods of doing camo in the LSK:
1) During overhauls in Dresden with kind-of "official" colors and patterns.
2) In the respective Geschwader with whatever paint there was and the main point being having spots in green and brown on the plane.
These paints were done after the latter method. Furthermore, no official guideline for doing camo existed, so the fighters were all kind of patterns, color variations and color decay.
Depicted are MiG-21MFs and -Ms from all six fighter squadrons of the "LSK der NVA" ("Luftstreitkräfte der Nationalen Volksarmee" - "Air Force of the East German People's Army"). There were more Fishbeds in training and recce wings, but I didn't do paints for them.
The machines from JG-1, -3 and -8 were flying in 1990 and thus have accurate tactical numbers.
JG-2 and JG-7 are depicted sharing one and the same aircraft (actually a "M"), with two different camo schemes before JG-7's disbandment in 1989 (arms reduction) and in service at JG-2.
JG-9 ultimately switched to MiG-23s in 1982, so this MiG continued its service at JG-3 until the end of 1984, when it most probably became an instructoral airplane at the "Militärtechnische Schule".
JG-8 got upgraded to the "bis" around 1977, so their -MFs never got to see a camo paint. This particular Fishbed ended up at the "Offiziershochschule für Truppeninstandsetzung" in 1977.
All repaint descriptions contain more info about the particular aircraft.
//Installation//
1. Drop the repaint folders in your MiG-21MF's installation folder.
(Most probably [FSX root folder]\SimObjects\Airplanes\MiG-21MF)
3. Open the MiG-21's aircraft.cfg and locate the last of the "[fltsim]" entries.
4. Add the following lines after that:

5. Bring the newly added [fltsim.x] entries into numerical sequence with the ones already present
in the aircraft.cfg.
E.g. if the last entry prior to adding these repaints was [fltsim.5], you'll have to continue
the first of the new entries as [fltsim.6] and make the second one [fltsim.7], the third one
[fltsim.8], etc...
6. You're done. Now go flying.
// Note //
These repaints rely on texture.cfg files to access textures shared between repaints.
If you've removed the default paints of the MiG-21 or moved the shared files to another folder, you'll need to edit these texture.cfgs appropriately.
