JMSDF PV-2 Harpoon 4578 Bare Metal

c/n 151480, ex-BuNo 37514, is a Lockheed PV-2 Harpoon delivered to the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force in 1955 and based at Kanoya Air Base in Kagoshima. The JMSDF fields twelve PV-2 and five PV-2D Harpoons from 1955 to 1961, with registration changing to 4578 in May 1956 and a Dec 31, 1960 strike-off.
