  • Unzip dc2_raaf2.ZIP to a temporary folder, ensuring that you retain folder names.
  • Within the download, move the texture folder 'texture.vhcrf' to the folder 'Douglas DC2' within your 'Flight Simulator 9/AIRCRAFT/' (or 'Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes') folder.
  • Open the aircraft.cfg with a text editor. Enter the following sections under the last [flightsim.XX] entry, numbering them sequentially:

description=DC-2-112 c/n 1257 was given the Royal Australian Air Force serial A30-12 in March 1941. Originally operating with No 1 Communications Flight, the aircraft joined 36 Sqn RAAF in 1942. Save the file. You're done. Your new aircraft will now appear in the aircraft selection menu within the sim.
