FSX F-111 Aardvark

F-111 Aardvark tail 63-9766 brings General Dynamics’ first F-111 to fly into Flight Simulator X, recreating the original white-and-grey scheme from its 1964 maiden flight. This repaint package requires Mike Stone’s F-111 model and adds updated flight dynamics, a new panel, custom effects, plus photos and historical notes on the preserved Edwards AFB airframe.

FSX F-111 Aardvark, tail #63-9766.A repaint of Mike Stone's F-111 Aardvark, modified for Flight Simulator X. The paint scheme is of General Dynamics' first F-111 to fly. Tail #63-9766 flew its maiden flight December 21 1964, crewed by Dick Johnson and Val Prahl, General Dynamics test pilots. The aircraft was painted originally in a white / grey paint scheme. This aircraft is preserved at Edwards AFB in the AFFTC Museum lot. Aircraft package includes new flight dynamics and a new panel and effects. Pictures and history of the original aircraft included.
