This release supplies a custom texture set that showcases LAN’s Boeing 787-8 markings for AI traffic. It is a repaint devised for the freeware CamSim AI model. The base package itself, created by Camil Valiquette, is required and is offered separately. Those who have previously used CamSim aircraft will be familiar with the installation structure, but the process is outlined below for ease.

Freeware Requirements

The base AI model (search CAMSIM788AI_X.ZIP in the Fly Away Simulation library) must be installed beforehand. Once the underlying model is integrated, the repaint can be added as described in the steps below.

Simple Steps to Integrate the Livery

1. Place the included texture.lan folder into your existing CamSim AI 787-8 folder.
2. Open the aircraft.cfg from that base model directory and paste the code snippet (provided next) under the appropriate [fltsim.x] section.
3. Replace [fltsim.x] with the next sequential number (e.g., [fltsim.1] or [fltsim.2]), ensuring this entry is recognized by your simulator.
