This freeware release features a meticulously crafted KD Avia Boeing 737-300 (registration VP-BJX), presented as a complete package with a custom repaint by Yemel VeneHacker Yarbouh. The Boeing 737-300 is recognized for its versatility within the Classic series, and it has historically served routes of moderate distance. KD Avia, a Russian carrier that once operated out of Kaliningrad’s Khrabrovo Airport, used this aircraft to provide reliable service throughout its network. Enthusiasts of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: Century of Flight will appreciate the optimized performance of this model, and the vivid exterior textures bring this iconic narrow-body jet to life in any virtual hangar.
Distinctive Visual Elements
The model you see here is derived from Vistaliners, originally envisioned by Erick Cantu. He dedicated great care to the external structure and liveries. Below, you will find images showcasing the KD Avia scheme, which is well adapted to highlight realistic lighting and shading effects in the simulator.

Classic Jetliner Beginnings
The 737-300 belongs to Boeing’s renowned Classic series, known for its dependable performance and mid-range flight capabilities. It was a frequent sight in many airline fleets from the late 1980s through the early 2000s. KD Avia employed this model to accommodate short- to medium-haul routes connecting various destinations in Europe and beyond. Its uprated engines and revised wing structure (compared to the earlier 737 variants) contributed to efficiency gains and robust handling during approach and departure phases.
Compatibility and Key Requirements
This particular add-on has been optimized for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: Century of Flight. While some simmers may attempt to employ it in other platforms, the best performance and compatibility is achieved with its intended simulator. The Panel was configured by Pablo Contouris, and Christian Dib Sarah provided the sound package (optional but recommended) that further refines the aircraft’s acoustic profile. Simmers who choose to install the dedicated 737-300 sound set will experience more faithful engine sounds and cockpit alerts.
Installation Procedure
- Unzip the contents of the downloaded file directly into your primary Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 aircraft directory.
- The folder structure is arranged to place all relevant files (panel, sound, texture, and model) into the correct subfolders automatically.
- Verify that the correct KD Avia textures appear in your aircraft selection menu upon launching the simulator.
By following these steps precisely, you will ensure that every essential component—including flight dynamics and visuals—functions as intended.
Operational Highlights
Virtual pilots can access cabin and cargo doors to simulate realistic ground procedures. Use Shift + E
for the primary passenger door, and then Shift + E + 2
to deploy the baggage hold. These movements add another layer of immersion during pre-flight and post-flight checks.

Acknowledgments
This project represents the dedication of several modders. Erick Cantu invested effort into creating the model and providing the foundational textures; Pablo Contouris furnished the panel details, and Christian Dib Sarah contributed sound design. The captivating KD Avia repaint is courtesy of Yemel VeneHacker Yarbouh. Their collective expertise ensures that anyone can enjoy an engaging, historically reflective aerial experience in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: Century of Flight.
