Suvarnabhumi International Airport (VTBS), Bangkok, Thailand, v1.1. Includes third runway, terminal, extra parking, added ILS, support vehicle roads and other enhancements.
This airport update was designed with the latest version of ADE and made only for FS.
Now included is a file with the third runway added which is part of phase 2 which may or may not happen in the near future, also included is a file with the option of the 2 runway operation as it is today, the Terminal constructed from the FSX buildings library, assigned parking with extra parking, ILS added to both runways by ADE, fuel box included, fuel trucks, support vehicle roads added, drainage canals and many other enhancements, airport views are from inside the control tower (when in tower view) please view the readme before installation.
There are 4 BGL files: VTBS_ADE_RS.BGL, VTBS_ADE_RS_rwy3.BGL, VTBS_ADE_CVX.bgl and a VTBS_ADE_OBJ.BGL file.
The VTBS_ADE_RS_rwy3.BGL file is with the third runway added and in full operation, obviously no navaids for it yet.
The VTBS_ADE_RS.BGL file is the two runway option.
Assigned parking is the same in both.
The VTBS_ADE_CVX.bgl file removes the Autogen for the Airport, Terminal, and runways and should always be used.
The VTBS_ADE_OBJ.BGL file is the scenery objects file and should also always be used.
Please make sure this file goes into the correct folder.
To Install:
- Take the VTBS_RS_BGL file of your choice and the VTBS_ADE_CVX.bgl file and place them into Flight Simulator X/Addon Scenery/scenery folder.
- Take the VTBS_ADE_OBJ.BGL file and place it into Flight Simulator X/Scenery/Global/scenery folder.
- Startup the Flight Sim and the changes will be present.
IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE ONLY USE ONE VTBS_RS.BGL FILE AT A TIME: i.e: make sure there is only ONE VTBS_RS.BGL FILE and the VTBS_CVX.bgl file in the Addon Scenery/scenery folder at any time, remove/delete any other VTBS.bgl to avoid incorrect parking and other airport conflicts.
To ADD: all you need now is to have flight plans going to this airport and use EditVoicePack to announce the airport and to show Suvarnabhumi Intl in the ATC window.

And my ever enduring wife to put up with the hours spent making these files.
TIP: when at VTBS in tower view: go to your control settings and look for the "View track/pan Toggle" allocate a keyboard keystroke to it (I allocated a button on my controller) this will unlock the user aircraft, then you can use the hat switch to pan 360 degrees around the airport, hitting the keystroke again (in my case a button) will return you to the user aircraft position.
Enjoy and Happy flying.
