FSX / P3D mission

FSX Mission--San Antonio IFR Approach

San Antonio IFR Approach recreates a tense, accident-inspired return flight in a Piper Navajo, challenging instrument skills with a missed approach to Runway 3 and a demanding go-around in solid cloud. Built as a focused FSX mission, it blends realistic ATC-style pacing with weather-driven pressure and careful navigation.

San Antonio IFR Approach. This mission is based on an actual accident report in San Antonio in November 2004. A Piper Navajo, returning to San Antonio from Dodge City with four passengers and a dog, missed the approach to runway 3 and crashed while going around. It was assumed that the pilot became spatially disoriented in the clouds. By Owen Graham.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D mission
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place mission files

Missions go into FSX\Missions\ as a sub-folder. The folder must contain an XML file describing the mission.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

This is a good mission, and it`s somewhat challenging. The only thing is that there is no audio for this one, but I don`t think that matters.
