FSX / P3D mission

FSX Mission--Valhalla

Valhalla recreates a tense 1942 Air Transport Command ferry flight from Goose Bay to Greenland, inspired by Ernest K. Gann’s “Fate is the Hunter,” with period-appropriate navigation, weather-driven decision-making, and clear mission objectives. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it requires the default Douglas DC-3 and delivers an atmospheric, story-led challenge.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D mission
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place mission files

Missions go into FSX\Missions\ as a sub-folder. The folder must contain an XML file describing the mission.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Very well done....Easy to load and everything works..I would like to see more like this one. You have to taxi to parking at the end to get the mission completed check mark. Also follow the directions in the read me file and turn on the message box in FSX settings/general tab.

I have to say that the graphics are quite nice and I like that the mission pointer appeared near the end of the flight. But, once you have landed where you are supposed to, nothing happens and there is nothing there. Also no mission completed checkmark at the end. Started out great and ended with nothing.
