This repaint offers a thoroughly weathered exterior for the Aerosoft F-16C CFT payware package in Microsoft Flight Simulator X, showcasing a United Arab Emirates Air Force (UAEAF) F-16E Block 60 “Desert Falcon.” Its authentic look is derived from various real-world sources, and it is credited to developer S. Peterson. Enthusiasts who wish to experience this texture in their own setup must have the payware model, which can be obtained separately.
Key Features of This Desert Falcon Livery
- Realistic Wear Details: Fine-tuned shading, scuff marks, and subtle fading recreate the formidable appearance of an actively deployed fighter jet.
- Block 60 Configuration: This single-engine design, known for its powerful F110-series propulsion, incorporates Conformal Fuel Tanks (CFT) to enhance range without disrupting aerodynamic performance.
- Advanced Cockpit Suite: The UAEAF’s Block 60 variant leverages high-precision avionics, including an upgraded radar system, making it one of the most sophisticated F-16s ever produced.

These enhanced aircraft operate alongside similarly advanced Mirage 2000-9EAD/DAD fighters in an effort to maintain regional stability. Notably, UAEAF Desert Falcons have performed frequent sorties in intense theaters such as Libya and Syria, showcasing the F-16’s exceptional adaptability.
