Overview
The Boeing 787-8 is a twin-engine wide-body aircraft, known for its composite structure and fuel efficiency. This rendition sports the United/Continental livery adopted after the airlines merged, reflecting a fresh appearance within Flight Simulator X. Creator Camil Valiquette specifically designed this v2 edition to optimize in-sim realism and incorporate improved handling characteristics.

Key Features

Installation
- Extract all items into your main FSX “Airplanes” directory. Each component will be placed in its appropriate folder automatically.
- If you have not previously installed one of the CamSim AGS aircraft, unpack the “Effects.zip” into the FSX root directory. These night lighting assets reside in the Effects folder.
Ground Services and Animations
This model features an AGS suite that provides boarding bridges, ground power connections, and more. For proper operation, assign the commands below in FSX:
- Press Shift+E for passenger doors.
- Press Shift+D for cargo access.
- Press Shift+C to initiate or conclude ground service animations.
Ensure that “Wing fold/unfold” is mapped to Shift+C and “Tail hook up/down” is mapped to Shift+D so all animations work as intended.

This version delivers an accurate portrayal of the 787’s modern aerodynamics and cabin placement.
