This repaint and flight model package features the Swiss-registered Embraer ERJ-145 LU (HB-JAU) intended exclusively for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. It includes a refined AirFile that corrects various flight parameters, offering more accurate engine thrust, fuel consumption, weight distribution, and aerodynamic behavior. Created by Just Flight’s Traffic 2004 with repaint and flight model work by Daniel Nole, this freeware release captures many real-world details to enrich your AI traffic or manual operations.
Enhanced Swiss Embraer ERJ-145 LU Livery
The ERJ-145, developed by Embraer, is a twin-engine regional jet known for efficient short-haul flights. This particular livery highlights Swiss’s traditional color elements. The real-world HB-JAU registration is reflected accurately, displaying a modern design while preserving the understated style of Swiss’s regional fleet.

Expanded Flight Plans and Routes
This release incorporates over 150 additional schedules for routes commonly served by the Embraer ERJ family. These new flight plans seamlessly integrate with existing traffic data, bringing increased variety for short to medium-distance travel. Destinations reflect typical European city pairs, leveraging the aircraft’s range and efficiency to simulate realistic operations.
Reworked Flight Dynamics
A completely revised AirFile is included, specifically tailored to the ERJ-145 LU. It addresses power output, fuel burn rates, maximum takeoff weight, and aerodynamic refinements. By replacing the original B737-400-based parameters provided in Traffic 2004, this updated model delivers a more faithful embodiment of the ERJ-145’s performance.
Installation Procedure
- Open your main FS2004 installation directory, then locate the aircraft folder.
- Inside, find the JFAIERJ subfolder that houses Just Flight’s Traffic 2004 ERJ-145 model.
- Copy the new “Swiss” texture folder, the included aircraft configuration text block, and the optional revised AirFile into that directory.
- If desired, overwrite the default B737-400-based AirFile with the updated ERJ-145-specific file to activate the enhanced flight model.
Developer Acknowledgments
