Vladivostok Air Yak-40 is a compact passenger jet with three jet-turbine engines that is used for passenger and cargo transportation on short routes. While the maximum commercial load permissible is 2720 kg, the maximum flight distance of Yak-40 is 1800 km. Some of the other chief characteristics of Vladivostok air Yak-40 includes cruising speed of 450 km/hour and cruising regime of 1150 kg/hour. With 32 economy class seats, Yak-40 is a classic passenger aircraft owned by Vladivostok Air, the largest carrier in the Russian Far East and Siberia. In fact, it's with the purchase of Yak-40 that Vladivostok Air heralded a period of dynamic development of its fleet.
