Modified standard Fokker 50 flight deck panel provides user with either a freeware Delco Inertial Navigation System or a Bendix/King Navigation Management system and allows for switching between pilot's and first officer's position. Numerous additional changes have been introduced to make the panels more user friendly. This flightdeck panel is based on the standard Fokker 50 payware version published by Precision Aerobus and installation of this Fokker aircraft in your Flightsim program is a prerequisite as Precisionaerobus original gauges are not provided with this file. By Emile Lancee.
Fokker 50 Standard Panel Modifications.
The files offered are only those that are changed and do not include any Precisionaerobus Gauges. Installation therefore is on bases that the user has purchased the original FSX Fokker 50 from Precisionaerobus and modified files will overwrite the original files. Users are given a choice for a Inertial Navigation System widely used on military aircraft build by Delco ( file designation includes the lettering LTN )or a Navigation management system used on most commercial aircraft build by BendixKing/Honeywell (file designation includes the lettering Bendix).
The panel offered is:
- Update version of the standard single screen Captains panel with the addition of the possibility to switch to the First Officers panel. The panelfile related to this change is Panel.std_Bendix or Panel.std_LTN
All panels include the following changes as well:
- Addition of a freeware navigation management system either the Delco Carousel Inertial Navigation System or BendixKing/Honeywell Flight Management System.
- More mouse sensitive operating buttons to select parking brake, radio/navigation management panel and control yoke.
- A modified pedestal panel with all the navigation management systems and navigation audiopanel.
- An all new undockable radio/navigation management panel with all available radios, navigation and audio controls combined on one panel.
- A mouse sensitive Navigation display, in the 2D and VC cockpit, that will provide for a popup of the combined Navigation and Altitude display as a separate panel.
- A modified Central Annunciation Panel (CAP) that allows for the opening and closing of the available doors for the respective version in the 2D and VC cockpit.
