FSX USAF Thunderbirds F-4. A repaint of Kazunori Ito's McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II. This aircraft is painted in the United States Air Force Flight Demonstration Team livery. The Thunderbirds came up with a new paint scheme in keeping with their streamlined image. An all white painted chassis with distinctive red and blue markings adorned the Thunderbirds aircraft for the first time in 1969 on the F-4 Phantom. Those topside markings, and a large dark blue Thunderbird symbol, was added to the belly of the Phantom. The F-4's large physical size and power did not come without a price. After 518 shows, the energy crisis of the early 1970s, ended the era of the Thunderbirds fuel hungry F-4 Phantom. This Phantom has new afterburner effects and a new panel. Package includes pictures and history of actual Thunderbirds. Textures and updates by Mark Rooks and Francis Silva of RSDG Aircraft.

VERY EASY TO DOWNLOAD AND A GREAT LOOKING PLANE. I REALLY LIKE FLYING THIS ONE AND I ALWAYS ENJOYED WATCHING THE THUNDERBIRDS FLY IN FORMATION. I WAS IN THE AIRFORCE IN 1973-77 AND THEY WERE USING THE T-33S THEN TO CUT COSTS. I NEVER GOT TO SEE THESE IN FORMATION IN PERSON, BUT I ENJOYED GETTING TO FLY ONE. I WOULD PAY ABOUT $10 FOR THIS AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ALL MEMBERS.
