This livery depicts the TI-BBI registration used by AENSA (Academia de Ensenanza AeronAiutica), thoughtfully crafted by Luis Jimenez Trejos for the Carenado PA28-181 payware package in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. It provides custom textures inspired by the real-world trainer variant and combines an authentic external paint job with precise details that enhance visual immersion during flight lessons or short regional hops.

Piper Archer II Heritage and Design

The PA-28 Archer II, part of Piper’s well-known Cherokee family, offers a streamlined fuselage and reliable low-wing configuration. Typically equipped with a 180 HP Lycoming O-360 engine, this model integrates a four-seat cabin arrangement suitable for both training applications and cross-country trips. Although it shares a similar role with its direct competitor, the Cessna 172, the Archer II stands out through its stable handling and refined aerodynamics.

Realistic Repaint for AENSA

These textures replicate the distinct color scheme worn by AENSA’s TI-BBI aircraft, a noteworthy choice for flight academies and beginners exploring fundamental pilot skills. Besides featuring the original registration markings, this repaint adds subtle wear effects around the fuselage and wings, reflecting genuine usage patterns. The attention to detail ensures that each training sortie in the simulator evokes a real-world experience.

Payware Model Compatibility

Please note that this repaint requires the separately available Carenado PA28-181 model. You must already own that payware package before installing these textures. Once installed, the new scheme blends seamlessly with Carenado’s cockpit fidelity and advanced aerodynamic modeling, providing a cohesive environment ideal for honing general aviation skills.
