FSX Fort Langley Scenery

Fort Langley (CBQ2), British Columbia, Canada. Enhances the airfield only with few building, farm and taxi path, country-side style. By Daniel Louvet.

Located in the Township of Langley, Fort Langley is about a 45 min drive from Vancouver as well as the USA border crossing. They are conveniently located near the #1 Hwy and the Albion Ferry crossing. The Langley area was the first part of the lower mainland of British Columbia where European settlement was established. Fort Langley was built in 1827 under the direction of James McMillan, Chief Trader of the Hudson's Bay Company. It was situated about 50 kilometres (30 miles) from the mouth of the Fraser River. The prime objectives of the Fort were to establish a fur trading post and to initiate some agricultural activities, which would secure a steady supply of food for the occupants of the various fur trading posts west of the Rockies.

I have enhanced the airfield only with few building, farm and taxi path, country-side style. Light aircrafts only as this is an airfield on grass runway.

Includes couple of parking + 2 covered one for your to taxi/park to and "work in progress" environment. Sadly, FSX did not provide me with the Fraser river as Fort Langley has in reality a marina (CAS4) to welcome Seaplane too. An update will come later on as soon as I fix the landmark since the field is not on a flat surface. Hope you'll enjoy your stop in beautifull Fort Langley.

These airports are not designed for A.I traffic yet, although FSX did link all parking spot and did not modified them.
