IRIS Flight Simulation Software announced the release of Diamond Star in February 2010. Diamond Star is the first of a series of general aviation aircraft from IRIS Flight Simulation Software, and it features custom sounds, gauges, four visual models and more.

In February 2010, Flight One Software, in cooperation with Scenery Solutions, announced a new type of product for FSX - Ultimate Alaska X. Ultimate Alaska X provides a new era of scenery design that simulation pilots can explore and experience in Flight Simulator X.

The PA-44 Seminole is an American twin-engine light aircraft manufactured by Piper Aircraft.
