Bringing These Jets into Your Simulator

Below are the recommended steps to seamlessly integrate these E-Jets into your setup:

  • Transfer all files from the provided effects directory into your simulator’s Effects folder.
  • Copy the four folders labeled “Embraer_Emb-170,” “Embraer_EMB-175,” “Embraer_Emb-190,” and “Embraer_Emb-195” into the “SimObjects/Airplanes” directory of your simulator.
  • If you wish to omit certain E-Jets, ensure you move the sound folder from the E-190 to those retained because they reference the same sound package to minimize file size.

They need to send out a patch to fix the speed control button.

In the auto pilot section of the air config files, set:

  • autothrotttle = 1
  • autothrottle armed = 0

Where is the VNAV button? Aircraft didn't follow line :(

There is not autothrottle-arm button so I just hit the keys-shortcut, for me is shift+r then I hit speed and it worked.

Great model, pretty good flight dynamics. A few problems, though. They won't take off until 180 knots, there are no animations for reverse thrust, default CRJ700 cockpit (wish it were POSKY), autothrottle doesn't work, and they go 20 knots on taxi with 0% thrust. It really is a shame, great models and repaints, though.

Excellent freeware version of the popular Embraer short haul jet. I flew this in the E-190 version, virtually entirely from the VC. Handled very well with excellent frame rates ( FSX - Steam mid-range laptop ). Landed in rain and poor visability with no complaints or unusual quirks. Programmers should be very proud of this one, great addition to any hangar
