Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Embraer E-jets (E-170, E-175, E-190, and E-195) with interactive virtual cockpits for FSX. Multiple liveries included for each aircraft. This package also includes updated versions of the previously released E170 and E175. These updated aircraft are the entire updated aircraft. Model and textures by AI Aardvark. Sound and config files by HangerFS.

Installation:

  • Copy the contents of effects folder to Effects folder located in the Microsoft FLight Simulator X folder.
  • Copy the folders titled "Embraer_Emb-170," "Embraer_EMB-175," "Embraer_Emb-190," and "Embraer_Emb-195" to Microsoft Flight Simulator X/ SimObjects/ Airplanes Folder
  • If you wish to only install a few of the E-jets and not the E-190, you will have to copy the E-190's sound folder to the ones that you decide to install because they are aliased to it to minimize the size of the package.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    Fix for EJets no Auto Throttle

    1. Click on your flight sim folder.
    2. Open SimObjects.
    3. Open the E-170/175/190/195 folder.
    4. Rename Aircraft.cfg to oldAircraft.CFG.
    5. Open the file and scroll down about halfway to find: 
      [autopilot]
autopilot_available=1
flight_director_available=1
default_vertical_speed=1800
autothrottle_available=1
autothrottle_arming_required=1 -----  CHANGE THIS
    6. Change the line to: 
      autothrottle_arming_required=0 -----  TO THIS for auto throttle
    7. Save the file to your desktop.
    8. Rename it Aircraft.cfg and cut and paste it back into the aircraft folder.

    You have now saved the original Aircraft.cfg should you need it and, you've created the new Aircraft.cfg.

    Set autothrottle_arming_required=0.

    Replace the 1 with a 0 (zero), not the letter "o".

    Great looking planes and I love all the different liveries, tho while flying the E-175, I keep having a runway trim when A/P is connected. Unsure why, but when climbing via A/P the trim just keeps going up and creates a stall situation. (Was very fun handling it tbh). No problems outside of using A/P.

    Yes, just swap out the panel in the config file with the premier designs embraer panel. the look is different but the speed hold works as do all the other hold buttons.

    Hey there,

    Using this, I can't ever seem to get the speed hold working on this jet, even with the hotkey, it won't ever engage speed hold. Nav/GPS and the likes, alt hold, everything else is fine just speed hold. Not the worst but stinks having to readjust throttle all the time. Any fix?
