A complete photoreal scenery add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator X covering the Italian island of Sardinia and surrounding areas.

Screenshot showing the Sardinia photoreal scenery installed in FSX.​This package is complete and includes all of the parts ever released. There is no need to download anything else - it's all here.

The package was designed for FSX but also works with P3D (possibly with v4+).

All scenery has been sourced from satellite imagery and outputted into a format that the flight simulator understands.

README files are included for each area for installation instructions.

Some of the Areas Covered

  • Gulf of Asinara​
    Includes areas of Sassari, Porto Torres, Stintino, Alghero and Castelsardo. No seasonal and night texture. Autogen only near LIEA airport.
  • Gallura and Costa Smeralda
    Includes Costa Smeralda, Olbia (and LIEO Airport), Arzachena, San Teodoro, Tempio Pausania. Only for FSX. No seasonal and night texture. No autogen.
  • La Maddalena Archipelago National Park
    Photoreal coverage of La Maddalena Archipelago National Park
  • Baronia and Ogliastra
    Coverage photoreal scenery of Barbagia area, Posada, Gulf of Orosei, Calagonone, Nuoro, Arbatax, Perdasdefogu, until Villasimius
  • Campidano
    Includes Gulf of Oristano, LIER Airport (Oristano - Fenosu), Is Arutas beach, Abbasanta, and Capo Frasca (AWTI - Air Weapons Training Installation)
  • Sulcis - Iglesiente
    Includes Sarroch, Iglesias, Carbonia, Sant'Antioco, Carloforte, Pula, Teulada.
  • Gulf of Cagliari
    Cagliari is the capital of the island of Sardinia, located in the south part of the island. Coverage Gulf of Cagliari and the metropolitan area of Cagliari, including LIEE Airport (Elmas).
